I have been getting a lot of information lately from my guides about attachment. Some of what they are saying I get, some I don't. I know that they are trying to get me to see what I am attached to and to let it go. Attachment is only ego getting in the way of Spirit. Attachments are things that cannot be moved or changed, we can only change our mind about them. They have used the Devil card in the Robin Wood Tarot deck to illustrate that for me. It is a picture of a man and woman trying to move a treasure chest down a long tunnel towards the door to the world at the end. The problem is that not only are they pulling in opposite directions but the chest is chained to the walls. They dont see that, even if they were both pulling in the same direction, the chest is immovable. My guides call the chest "the box". They keep asking me what "box" I am attached to and why I can't let it go. They want me to decide to give up on trying to move the unmovable. That, my friends, is easier said than done. I have a lot vested in my "boxes". When I think of giving them up, I feel afraid, guilty, unsure. What I am slowly coming to realize is that no matter what form (meaning) the "box" seems to take, it is really only my ego that has formed it. This year I am studying A Course in Miracles. The lessons of the last few days have been on realizing that nothing has any meaning except what I give it and that any meaning comes from my past and is illusion. My "boxes" are illusions and the sooner I realize that, the farther along I will be in my spiritual journey. Again, it's not easy-the ego is a very powerful force in our world. It fights hard to survive and will stop at nothing-no weapon is too much to use in its arsenal. It brings up the faces of those I love, the home I love, the fear of what people will say, the uncertainty of survival and more. I have let some of my boxes go already. I intend to let them all go as soon as possible. With the help of my guides and my angels and God, I know I will. What boxes are you attached to? Everything that we "resolve" to do in the new year is illusion except one-when we vow to be more loving. Being in Love is the only reality and dissolves all of those old attachments and illusions and lays our ego safely and quietly to rest. My vow for the new year is to be in Love. We are human be-ings not human do-ings. Being in Love is our only hope-it is the only thing that we were truly meant to do. I love you all.

It is the part that remembers why you are here. Many of us have lost our spiritual selves along the journey of our lifetime. We have lost the connection that we first had when we were younger. It was easy to "see, hear and know" things when we were children. As we got older, we began to lose that gift for a variety of reasons. It is time to awaken the Spiritual Self; to connect with our psychic and intuitive gifts and to connect with our loving guides, angels and yes, even our Higher Self. We must do this in preparation for the Shift-the coming Awakening where Christ Consciousness will return again in Love and Light.
